Who? What? Where? When? Why?

In 2019 we push it to the the next level. You can look forward to a whole long drive series with nine long drive events in total (3 PRESEASON events indoor, 5 REGULAR SEASON events outdoor and 1 GRAND FINAL). The series is structured as follows: PRESEASON, REGULAR SEASON and GRAND FINAL.

Division 2
Everyone is eligible to register for the Division 2.
At the first event – PRESEASON event #1 – ALL players will compete in Division 2 on Saturday. Players start a seeding phase with 3 times 8 balls with a time limit of 3 minutes per 8 balls, so each player hits 24 balls in total (3 sets). The longest ball of each player counts for the seeding.

After the seeding the longest 8 players will directly qualify for Division 1 on Sunday. The Top 16 of the remaining players (Seed 9 – 24) compete for the winner of the Division 2.

At the PRESEASON events #2 and #3 all longdrivers from 9th place on – based on the current ranking – start in Division 2.

Division 1
At the PRESEASON event # 1 the best 8 longdrivers – based on the results of the seeding – qualify directly for Divison 1 on Sunday. Depending on the number of registered professional longdrivers, the best 3 to 6 players from Division 2 will qualify for Division 1 on Sunday.
At the PRESEASON events #2 and #3 the Top8 players – based on the current ranking – are directly qualified for Division 1.
The committee reserves the right to issue up to 2 wildcards for Division 1.

Re-Ranking
After the three indoor events, there will be a “Re-Ranking”. This means the standings after the three indoor events decide which 8 players start the REGULAR SEASON in Division 1. All other players have to register for Division 2 and will have the chance to qualify for the second day.
